After Ayra's party, we did not head home (as usual). As Ryan had just slept in the car, we were sure he was refreshed & raring to go, so we knew that going home will "bore" him. So we decided to head to Toa Payoh Central. Usually we just hang around or shop or meet up with friends for coffee, but today my ever "sharp-eyed" munchkin saw the kiddy rides there (for the 1st time, I might add). To make him happy, I decided to let him have a run of the ride. It costs $ 3.00 per ride. Ryan was thrilled ... though he didn't understand why he couldn't control the car. Ha! that's because Daddy (& Mummy) decided to choose a vehicle that could be controlled via remote. Eventhough Ryan is pretty adapt at maneauvering (better than his Mummy, infact), the area was pretty tight & since all the rides were taken, we were afraid that he might into a collision.
Alas, thats what happened. A kid kinda slammed into Ryan at top speed but luckily nothing happened to my darling but the kid got the brunt of his "rash" act. He tumbled out of his vehicle ... I was kinda concerned for him & helped him up, asking if he was alright ... but the kid kinda gave me a weak smile & continued as per normal. Kids ... they fall, they get up & they move on. I wish we adults were more like that ... child-like in nature. To be able to pick ourselves up like it wasn't a big deal whatsoever ... wow! thats a trait we should emulate!
